Throw Up City: Limited Edition Skateboard Deck Collection
As we gear up for the New Year, I’m thrilled to unveil a sneak peek at my latest skateboard deck collection, Throw Up City. This exclusive series celebrates two of my lifelong loves—throw-up graffiti and urban railcars. Featuring bold graffiti-inspired designs, the collection debuts with three iconic cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, and London.
These limited-edition decks are designed for skaters and collectors alike, blending street art culture with skateboarding’s rebellious energy. Read on to learn more about the concept, the designs, and what’s next for this collection.
The Concept Behind Throw Up City
The Throw Up City series is my way of merging two creative passions: graffiti and trains. While I’m no longer out bombing trains (those were the days!), my love for the art form hasn’t faded. Trains have always fascinated me—not as a trainspotter but as a fan of their role as urban canvases.
For decades, trains have been a symbol of rebellion and a platform for graffiti writers to "get up" and leave their mark. With Throw Up City, I’ve combined this ethos with skate culture to create a collection that celebrates urban expression and movement.
A First Look at the Decks
The debut collection highlights three iconic cities:
Amsterdam: Capturing the lively and creative spirit of the Dutch capital.
Berlin: Reflecting the edgy and rebellious soul of Germany’s cultural hub.
London: Celebrating the raw energy and urban grit of the UK’s bustling metropolis.
Each deck features the city name in bold throw-up graffiti style, complete with Nope tagging details that nod to my roots as a graffiti artist. These designs aren’t just a homage to graffiti—they’re a celebration of the intersection between art and skateboarding culture.
Limited Edition Collectibles
The Throw Up City skateboard decks are limited edition, making them a must-have for both skaters and collectors. Each deck will come with a special certificate of authenticity, ensuring that even if you ride yours hard, you’ll still have a piece of the collection to treasure.
With only a limited number of each deck available, these are designed to be both functional art and collectible pieces that embody the rebellious spirit of graffiti and skating.
What’s Next for Throw Up City?
The Throw Up City collection officially launches in early 2025. If this first drop is well-received, I plan to expand the series with more cities later in the year. I’d love to hear your suggestions—what city should be next? Let me know in the comments.
