Hull City Custom Football Kit Design Concept

Football kits aren’t just uniforms—they’re symbols of identity, pride, and passion. As someone with a deep love for football and strong ties to Hull, I couldn’t resist creating my own Hull City custom football kit design concept. This project combines my rich football knowledge, a personal connection to the city, and my design expertise to create something that celebrates Hull City’s heritage while staying fresh and modern.

Inspiration

Hull City is synonymous with the colour amber and tiger stripes—a bold identity that has stood the test of time. In this concept, I aimed to honor those traditions while adding a contemporary touch:

• Amber colour and Tiger Patterns: The home kit leans into the iconic colors and patterns that define the club’s heritage.

• White Away Kit: Staying true to Hull City’s traditional away colours, the white kit is clean and timeless.

• Green and White Third Kit: A nostalgic nod to my favourite Hull City away shirt from my childhood. I can still picture Andy Payton banging in goals while sporting these colours—it’s a piece of history I couldn’t leave out.

The Designs

Creating this concept was a deeply personal experience. Growing up in Hull, the city has always held a special place in my heart, from its vibrant community to its football culture. For this project, I drew on my understanding of Hull as a city and Hull City as a club, combining it with a modern approach to sportswear design trends.

Home Kit:
Amber reigns supreme, paired with tiger stripe accents that scream Hull City pride. The pattern pays homage to the club’s history while feeling fresh and modern.

Away Kit:
A crisp white design that reflects Hull City’s long-standing tradition for away kits. The simplicity and elegance of this shirt let the club’s heritage shine.

Third Kit:
A bold green and white check design, inspired by a beloved away kit from the past. This shirt is a personal favorite, steeped in nostalgia and a celebration of Hull City’s legacy.
